Fridays are when I head out to experience new brunches in town, and this time I decided to give Le Petit Belge a try. The café style restaurant has opened up in Pullman Hotel, JLT and is a really nice place to unwind.

It’s a taste of Belgian culture in the truest sense, where you get served on the table with some amazing delicacies.

Here is the list of my top 5 favorites from this brunch:

Croquettes are a decent way of starting your breakfast, these were nice and crunchy. The flavor became even richer after dipping them in the different sauces that came along.

I loved the presentation and crostini idea for the Toast Cannibal. This was basically raw beef tartare on crispy baguette and tasted so good and authentic.

The Grilled Asparagus was done up so differently, salad style! The goat cheese and balsamic enhanced its deliciousness even further.

Are you a Mussels fan? You have to try the Garlic Cream Mussels at this brunch. So fresh and flavorful!

Who can leave out a Wagyu Slider? I couldn’t! Mine was soft medium done and just perfect to fill the stomach.

At the end, I had some gorgeous Belgian Waffle Cones that come with strawberry and vanilla ice cream. Pictures can’t do justice to how attractive this dessert looked, and it tasted all the more irresistible!

All-in-all, the food portions are generous, staff is lovely and I loved the outdoor seating area, it’s so nice and refreshing especially when there’s a light breeze blowing on your face.

This is the perfect place to walk in wearing casual attire instead of getting all dolled up for a fine dining experience. Valet service is also available here, so you can just hand over your car and hop inside for some delightful bites only for AED199. Trust me it’s totally worth the price!

Another thing worth mentioning, though I’m not a drinker, is that this is a licensed place with 37 different kinds of beers available. The only bar to serve Chimay Gold beer. They also serve Vedett Ipa Belgian beer, which is also the first in Dubai and the only one currently.
